Symantec pcAnywhere 12.5 is the remote management and helpdesk software that allows administrators quick problem resolution on a remote machine.
With Symantec pcAnywhere 12.5 you can connect to remote hosts over LAN, Internet, VPNs, firewalls, and routers and work like you were sitting in front of the computer you are connecting to. You can remotely manage software, drivers, folders, files and users and resolve issues without physical presence at their desktops.

Symantec pc Anywhere provides access to remote computers and lets you treat them as local machines, allowing you to resolve software problems, diagnose hardware issues, update drivers, search and transfer files, and resolve user issues delivering help directly to their desktop without the need of your physical presence.
Symantec pcAnywhere ensures safe and reliable connectivity from wherever you might be: Connect to pcAnywhere hosts from your local network, from home or hotel when on a business trip. Just connect your laptop to the Internet and you can establish a secure connection with your Windows, Mac and Linux desktops.
If you are connecting via firewall, gateway, NAT (Network Address Translation) or masqueraded network, pcAnywhere will work as reliably as you were connecting directly to the host in question.
Symantec pc Anywhere is fast, robust, secure and it generates very little network traffic.You can connect to remote desktops frequently and over extended periods of time because the network traffic it generates is very low. From a single desktop console, you can monitor, install software, manage users and resolve helpdesk issues within minutes without the need of visiting the supported desktop. You can even transfer files between computers that can be used for problem resolution, such as antivirus or diagnostics software.
Symantec pc Anywhere version 12.5 comes with a few new features including whiteboard support, and smart card authentication.
