Creating and managing Norton Account

What is Norton Account

Norton Account is your personal profile account at Symantec, that holds information about your licenses and subscriptions for all Norton by Symantec products you purchased.

Once Norton Account is created, you can manage all of your Norton products in one handy place via the online panel. You can easily keep track of your purchased items, view remaining days of your subscriptions, manage your contact information and billing details and much more.

Norton Account is accessible at any time from every computer connected to the Internet at: https://www.mynortonaccount.com/

To create a Norton Account do the following:

  1. Norton Account can be created during activation of your Norton product. Do do so, follow the on screen instructions during activation.
  2. Norton Account can be created and accessed any time after activation. To create a Norton Account after activation, use the Access Norton Account link available in the My Account window in Norton 360.

In order to complete Norton Account creation, you will be requested to provide valid email address and password.

How do I access my Norton Account

Accessing Norton Account can be useful if you've lost your Norton Product Key or simply want to know about the status of your subscription and days remaining your protection will be active.

You can also update and change your contact and billing information via Norton Account which makes it a convenient tool to manage all your Norton subscriptions and licenses.

License and subscription information for Norton products that are older than the 2006 product year isn't stored in your Norton Account.

To access Norton Account either visit https://www.mynortonaccount.com/ directly from your favorite Web browser or in Norton 360 main window, click My Account » Access Norton Account. To login, provide your valid email address you used for registration and your selected password.

What to do if you lose your Norton Account password

If you can't remember your Norton Account password, there's an easy way to create a new one. Norton Account allows you to create a new, temporary password to sign in. The temporary password is generated for you automatically and sent to your email address.

Temporary passwords may only be used once, and you will be prompted to change it first time when you log in to your Norton Account.

To request a temporary password click My Account in Norton 360 main window » Access Norton Account » in the Norton Account Welcome page click "Forgot your password?".

You'll need to verify your email address, after that, a new temporary password will be emailed to you.
