What's new in Norton 360 Version 3.0

Norton 360 Version 3.0 includes some new exciting features including the following:

• Norton Insight drastically shortens scan times by scanning only those files that are potentially dangerous and may contain viruses and other malicious code
• Pulse Updates is the new feature that automatically downloads virus definition updates and minor program updates via LiveUpdate while you work. Virus updates are released every 5 to 15 minutes keeping your PC protected from the latest threats at all times
• Idle Time Scans triggers background tasks and definition updates while your PC is idle
• Silent Mode allows you to turn notifications and deep scans off for a given period of time. This is useful during playing games or watching movies
• Startup Manager lets you view and disable unwanted boot-time processes vastly improving Windows startup speed
• Botnet Protection stops bots preventing turning your PC into a computer zombie
• Norton Safe Web actively monitors Web sites you visit or search for, giving you detailed reports about the threats they contain
• Norton Drive queues up files that are selected for backup
