Norton Utilities is another edition optimization and cleanup suite that can recognize issues and remedy serious computer problems that can slow down your machine or even crash it.

Using this software you can recognize stability and speed issues, remove unwanted temporary files, and defragment your hard drive with just a few mouse clicks.

The startup manager allows you to optimize processes and applications that are run during computer boot. One of the automated optimizations by Norton Utilities is prioritizing core Windows services so that they can be launched before any custom programs, which can contribute to a major speed boost and shorten boot times.

Another tools included in Norton Utilities are Registry Cleaner and Registry Defragmenter, Process Viewer and Performance Test which you can use to compare the speed of different hardware configurations or the speed of your PC in pre-optimization and post-optimization stage.
