Norton SystemWorks Premier Edition 12.0 by Symantec is the PC-protection, tuneup and backup & restore suite that provides all-round protection against viruses, spyware, system malfunction and data loss.
Norton SystemWorks boosts overall system performance by removing bad registry entries, cleaning up files, defragmenting disks and removing viruses, spyware and bots.
The application loads quietly during startup and runs in the background while you work, optimizing your system performance and delivering ongoing antivirus protection from Norton AntiVirus 2009.
Norton SystemWorks Premier Edition also now includes Norton™ Save & Restore 2.0 that enables you to perform quick and reliable backup of selected files and folders or to create full system and disk dump.
In order to reduce backup time and disk space, Norton Save & Restore uses incremental backup technology that only adds new or changed files to backup archives. On top of that, archives are compressed using a highly efficient compression method that slims down your backup data.
SystemWorks Premier uses a number of sophisticated techniques and utilities to keep your PC running at peak performance such as disk-defragmentation tool, file cleanup, registry cleanup and other tools (please refer to the Features section for details).

Norton SystemWorks do not support RAID installations and can't be used on systems using RAID devices.
